Project Manager – Roofing & Remodeling (San Diego)

Peak Builders & Roofers of San Diego—an A+ BBB-accredited, 5-star Google-rated residential and light-commercial contractor—seeks a seasoned Construction / Roofing Project Manager to lead multiple roofing and remodeling projects across San Diego County.

Core Responsibilities

• Own all phases—estimate review, pre-construction, production, and close-out—on 3-6 concurrent projects worth $25 k–$500 k each.
• Create CPM schedules, order long-lead materials, and coordinate subcontractors and in-house roofers.
• Run weekly client meetings, publish progress photos, and issue change orders through Procore or Buildertrend.
• Enforce OSHA fall-protection, ladder-safety, and site-cleanliness standards; conduct daily job-site safety checks.
• Track labor and material costs against budgets, proactively reducing over-runs.
• Deliver punch-list free hand-offs that sustain our 5-star reputation.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a roofing project manager or remodeling project manager.
• OSHA-30, valid CA driver’s license, and reliable transportation throughout San Diego County.
• Fluency in Procore, Buildertrend, CoConstruct, or similar project-management software.
• Strong knowledge of asphalt-shingle, clay-tile, and TPO roofing systems plus residential framing & finish trades.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills—written, verbal, and digital.

Nice-to-Have

• California CSLB B or C-39 license.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, or other construction accounting solutions.

Compensation & Benefits

• All projects delivered on or under budget with ≤ 2 % variance.
• Average customer-satisfaction score of 4.9/5 or higher.
• Zero OSHA recordables; all crews trained and certified in fall-protection.
• Two Assistant PMs mentored into full Project-Manager roles.
